Banksy Unveils Striking New Valentine's Day Artwork in Margate!

In honor of Valentine's Day, Banksy has created a new mural in Margate, Kent that takes a strong stance against domestic violence.

Titled "Valentine's Day Mascara," the mural features a smiling woman in a 50s-style dress, with a bruised eye and outstretched arms, standing beside a large chest freezer containing the legs of her abusive husband. The work is located off Grosvenor Place and will be housed at Margate's Dreamland amusement park so that it can be enjoyed by all.

Banksy is known for his covert street art, and locals reported seeing a broadband van leaving the scene early yesterday morning.

Margate has recently received extensive coverage in the press for its recent regeneration, exciting arts scene, and as the location for the recent Academy Award-nominated blockbuster film 'Empire of Light', directed by Bond alumni Sir Sam Mendes and starring Olivia Coleman and Colin Firth.
